Hello guys! I'm a complete noob so please bear with me... I just bought a X360USB Pro v2 because of it's ease of use (as the add says)... Now I can't seem to be able to get pass the LO83 info and it tells me No Drive detected. I have put all the drivers (even though it does not say in the device manager X360USB PRO) and that's that! Any help please? Any tutorials? Xbox 360 LiteOn 83850C v1 stock firmware (no dashboard upgrade) Windows 7 x64
The ck3i part is there at least. I had to install two sets of drivers for the usbpro 2. Turning it on might prompt you for the second install. Also your update and aux switches on the side need to both be in the left position
Ok so im at another computer now my laptop (32bit) and this is what happend.... My drive is a LiteOn 83850C v1 stock firmware... and I did not update the dashboard...
Ah that's what I thought. You're going to need a probe v3 to extract the key from your drive. It sells for about 15 bucks. It's a fairly simple operation but if you mess it up you can brick your drive. But that can be unbricked easily with a mod boot disc.
oh I thought only after that firmware I would need a probe..... I read somewere that the stock pre june2009 didnt need it with the pro2... and what about the error for the drivers???
Ah excellent! I bought a probe 3 and didn't expect to use it again but my bro in law wanted his flashed and it turned out to be a liteon also so it came in handy. It's a good buy and you never know when you will need it. Now if you accidentally brick the drive I will walk you through unbricking it. It's relatively easy
Yeap I understand! Well I opened jungleflasher and I think I will be needing this probe I thought I didn't update it but it says: Drive responds as Lite-On 83 version 2 LO83info is only for Lite-On 83 version 1.... Is there a way to bypass it? so as to not to use a probe???
Geez wish I could say for certain but everywhere I looked mentioned that a probe 3 is needed. Hey make a thread in the BST section and see if anyone has one they don't need
