Eagle-eyed forum folks reckon they've spotted the new Hero and Villain characters coming to Star Wars Battlefront with the Outer Rim DLC this March. Nien Nunb, the giggling co-pilot to Lando in the Millennium Falcon during Return of the Jedi's closing moments amid The Battle of Endor; and Greedo, the bounty hunter that Han Solo definitely shot first in the Mos Eisley Cantina, are thought to be the new Hero and Villain respectively.
The reasoning is thus: zoom in on the Outer Rim artwork debuted earlier this week, and you'll see Sullustan and Rodian near the centre of the image facing off against one another. While some think they're just two soldiers with unlockable custom heads, a closer look indicates that they're decked out in Nunb and Greedo's gear rather than uniforms.
Delve into it a little more, and it makes sense that Greedo would feature as part of the new Tatooine Jabba's Palace map, due to him being a bounty hunter in the Hutt's employ. Outer Rim also adds a factory map set on the surface of Sullust, so that would explain Nunb's inclusion. The more you think about it, the more it makes sense. And we've zoomed in on Nunb and Greedo in the picture below. That's them, innit?
Star Wars Battlefront's Outer Rim DLC is coming in March, and will be followed by Bespin DLC presumably with Lando Calrissian and another bounty hunter (probably Bossk or someone), and a Death Star expansion we're betting includes Grand Moff Tarkin and Obi Wan Kenobi, later in the year. A fourth expansion set for early 2017 just has to include Chewbacca. It has to!
