Number One Hands down for me .. Intel® Core™ i5-4200U processor Windows 8 Memory: 8 GB Hard drive: 1 TB
I have the second laptop I use it for streaming and video making. So far I like it looks good next to my desktop.
http://ark.intel.com/products/75459 http://mobilityupdate.com/cpu-benchmark/amd-a8-4555m-benchmark/ #1: Dual Core, DDR3L, can install more RAM I believe it says(doesn't specify a maximum), more audio jacks, bigger cache, touchscreen, "Multi-format memory card reader",DTS Sound+. #2: Quad Core, DDR3, 8GB is the maximum amount of RAM.
so far looks like im getting the first 1 was my first pick anyway just thought touchscreen would be nice feature guessing amd isnt as good as intel
people will moan at me I'm sure for saying this but I wouldn't touch a intel for my life the AMD all the way mate you will have a much better time with that, honestly I'd love them both right now but I'd sell the intel or trade it in for that AMD, what will you be using it for as that is a very important thing to know when buying one? Still the AMD all the way for me intel suck yes they have got way better over the last 10 years but still no way as good as AMD (just my thought's and 15+ years upgrading servicing and building laptops and desktop computers)

With The Newly Released AMD CPU + Windows 8 GRAPHICALLY, THIS LAPTOP BEATS THE INTEL i3, i5 & i7 HD Graphics HANDS DOWN!*** The integrated DirectX 11-compatible Radeon HD 7640G offers 256 shader cores of the Trinity chip and, thanks to Turbo Core, will operate anywhere between 480 to 680 MHz depending on the current application demand. On average, the graphics performance of the HD 7640G Integrated GPU is comparable to a dedicated Radeon HD 7570M or GeForce GT540M / GT630M graphics card and is much faster than Intel's HD 3000 and even outperforms the HD Graphics 4000 as found in Intel’s Ivy Bridge i3, i5 and i7 CPUs
I dont think there is anything wrong with AMD i was running AMD on my old labtop and every once in a while i still use it. But my current labtop is running i5 from intel. And im never bogged down. I think i got 4 gigs of ram too. But i would suggest the first one as the touch screens arent nearly as useful on a labtop as they figured they would be. Unless you go with a hybrid labtop. Than i could understand having a touch screen. But the negative no DVD drive :/ but still my suggestion stands First pick.
nice laptop but i wouldnt buy 1 from ebay i heard of Lenovo before but would rather buy a hp or bigger name
lol lenovo is a massive company massive do a bit of research into the two companies bro lenovo will come out top, I personally wouln't touch a HP in my grandad's repair shop they get nothing but HP/Compaq laptops in they seem to have a life cycle of less than 12 months, my grandad and the other guy's who have been working on electronics inc laptops since they first came onto the market, I'll tell you what they all say to me buy a ACER they all say its one of the best laptops made, I've had one a few years ago and it lastest years, but Lenovo mate has been around a long long time check them out. And the reason I showed you it on ebay because they seem to give more info and details on the systems they are selling but you can get it from UK shops for around £499-£599 well worth the extran little bit of cash for the 16GB graphics card its a massive top spec only thing that comes close to it are laptops around £1000, and that lenovo will still be good in 5 years where as the HP if it lasts over a year will be out dated in 2 years
I will go for the second! Better graphics and I strongly remember reading an article that intel cpu's ending with "U" aren't a great choice Amd for me
