jdownloader requires you to have java 1.5 or higher for it to run properly do you have the latest java installed if not hears the link to it http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp?detect=jre&try=1
It's like torrents but from super servers, Xbox 360 back up in 10 mins FTW and they are there before anywhere else.

There is IDM (internet download manager) which I find very good to. I use both Jdownloader and IDM. sometimes I use BAN-ME-PLEASE too, never used a newsgroup, maybe I'll check them later. A free newsgroup would be awesome, not sure if there is any out there.
