I am unable to use 360Revolution on Windows 10. I have tried all of the compatability settings and verified I am running the program as Admin. .Net Detector indicates I have 2.0 - 4.6 RC installed: <32Bit> 2.0.50727.8662 ->C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727 4.6.96.0 ->C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319 <64Bit> 2.0.50727.8662 ->C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.50727 4.6.96.0 ->C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319 < Installed .NET Frameworks > .NET FW 2.0 SP 2 (CLR:2.0) .NET FW 3.0 SP 2 (CLR:2.0) .NET FW 3.5 SP 1 (CLR:2.0) .NET FW 4.6 Release Candidate (CLR:4.0) < Installed Updates > Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile KB2468871 KB2468871v2 KB2478063 KB2533523 KB2544514 KB2600211 KB2600217 Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Extended KB2468871 KB2468871v2 KB2478063 KB2533523 KB2544514 KB2600211 KB2600217 KB2468871 KB2468871v2 KB2478063 KB2533523 KB2544514 KB2600211 KB2600217 < Installed Languages 3.0> English - United States < Installed Languages 3.5.x> English - United States < Installed Languages 4.x> English - United States Here is the exact error message after submitting user name and password. I downloaded and installed the most recent version of 360Revolution on the site with no fix. Choosing continue allows me to open the program and see the features, but the USB drive inaccessible. Upon opening the Device Explorer and choosing File, USB I get the following error: I have tried multiple USB devices and ports. My 360 is running dashboard 2.0.16202.0. Any help would be appreciated.
I seem to be launching and opening it just fine natively on my PC (tested out on 3 other windows 10 PCs as well just to be sure: Win 10 home, Win 10 Professional, and Win 10 Technical Preview). What version of Windows 10 are you running? Judging by the error report and from what you've provided thus far, I would say first try changing your password (no special characters but a strong one for your safety), redownload 360Revolution (latest version will automatically download if you download an older version), and try reinstalling the .NET Frameworks (those can become corrupted somehow to where it might need repair by uninstalling, restart, then reinstalling). On another note, once you get an error on a software and it allows you to continue, you should expect to run into more problems. More cases than any, the program will not run properly until that error is fixed client-side or developer-side (of course, there are those rare times -- depending on the error -- where the program can run just fine after continuing on from the error pop-up).
Sorry, I swore I had included the Win version in the OP. It is 10 Pro BTW: I have deleted the program from my system and am redownloading it to a different location for testing. As I am stuck on a 1 Mbps connection I am reserving reinstalling the .NET frameworks as a last resort. I also did a quick scan and removal of all 360Revolution mentions in the registry. I will post back with the results. Thanks for the help. Changing password, cleaning registry, and redownloading seems to have resolved the issue. Thanks again for the pointers.
