The Twitch app just got bigger and better on Xbox One thanks to a major new update which utilizes new technology. The first thing you will probably notice thats different about the Twitch app on Xbox One is the new broadcast filtering system which has the ability to associate Xbox One real-time gameplay stats with broadcasts, which means there is now a massive array of search options available. The filters will differ per game, but you will now be able to search based on different aspects such as "player stats, game modes, maps, player skill level, in-game activity, progress, and more." says Microsoft.

This new filtering is not only good for a gamer looking for a video to watch on specific games with a specific criteria, like for instance lets imagine you want to find a stream by Call Of Duty Advanced Warfare players with the highest Kill/Death ratio , too easy!

This is great news for those Xbox One gamers that are late to the Twitch party, if you have skills now that interest other gamers, then the new system will mean that attracting viewers has never been easier.

Another new feature thats has been added is Video On Demand. Xbo With 'VOD' you will be able to see highlights and past broadcasts and watch them back at any time, even if the broadcaster is offline. This is a console first and is only available on Xbox One.

I can ramble on all day about how good the new Twitch app is, and how great the new user interface is, but really the only way to really appreciate it, is to see it for your yourself.
Check out the video above to see all the changes that have been made to the Twitch app, and for yet another great reason to buy an Xbox One.
