i do not take credit for this. i dont know who made the checksum fixer. or where i found it. it fell in my lap. im just sharing ty Assuming you kknow how to tranfer and extract your BF3 PROF_SAVE, this is how you can edit your FOV for the 360. what you need: Horizon ` HxD (or notepad++) bf3crc (bf3 checksum fixer, link below) before you do anything.back your **** the **** up. im not responsible for any **ups step one copy your PROF_SAVE to USB and open it with Horizon. (you will need to extract the contents of the PROF_SAVE, not the save file itself..or else this will not work.) step 2 Open extracted PROF_SAVE in Notepd ++ or Hex software (i used HxD) and search for Fieldofview. step 3 you will see: "FieldOfView.....70.000000" you can change the 70 into anything of your liking. as long as you use 2 digits. if you feel stupid to try out anything above FOV 100 do not forget to delete one 0 from the end. so 70.000000 (6 zero's) = 100.0000 what i do is copy a . (00) and replace the last 0) im on a 32" screen which is approx. half a meter away and i find FOV 95 just perfect. i tried 110 which was still playable but a bit too much. when you are done save. now before we go on to step 4, make sure you have bf3crc.exe virustotalscan results it finds 1 of 30. but thats a false positive. your call. put bf3crc.exe your edited PROF_SAVE and a shortcut of cmd in the same folder. step 4 open cmd from the shortcut. typ in bf3crc PROF_SAVE if done correctly you will see something like this you can now replace the modded save_PROF with the original S/R/R and copy it back to your xbox. enjoy! here's video that it works. i set my FOV to 150 just for the sake of the video.
