just a quick guide for people that have managed to retrive there slim key already but have managed to destroy the drive and then having to purchase an unlocked slim pcb . these pcbs are being sold by some sellers as genuine on sites such as AMAZON / EBAY beware but they will still boot backups if fitted properly , as we can see they look nothing like an original factory fitted microsoft genuine pcb . im assuming you already know how to load jungleflasher select youre firmware etc etc so i will begin . for these pcbs to work in MTK FLASH 32 tab phat must be selected in the flashing tasks box do not select slim even though it is a slim we are flashing . after that is done we must intro the drive again in flashing tasks box again make sure phat is selected . if you select slim then try to intro with these pcbs it will cause jungle flasher to crash " so dont do it " . once intro has been clicked follow the prompts in the on screen boxes that appear , if done correctly you shall see 0x72 flash chip properties in the flash chip properties box . if you see 0x51 you have not selected phat flashing tasks box and will need to close jungleflasher and start all over again in most cases . once you have succesfully introed the drive pcb and we see 0x72 in the flash chip properties box you will see also in the flashing tasks box either 0x8c or even 0x00 . if the staus is 0x00 leave the box do not click on it . if the staus is 0x8c click the box it will unlock to 0x00 . DO NOT ATTEMPT TO KAMIKAZE THE PCB CHIP JUST DO AS ABOVE . great where there ready to flash it , be sure to have the corrcet key / firmware loaded in firmware tool 32 tab CLCK SPOOF SOURCE TO TARGET , go back to MTK FLASH 32 TAB . make sure in FLASHING TASKS BOX the PHAT icon is ticked.colured in blue . if you tick the slim the upcoming write will cause jungleflasher to crash get ready to start all over agin if so , with phat ticked procced to hit write . let jungleflaher take its course and procced to erase then write youre firmware to the pcb . you will notice with these pcbs they DO NOT AUTHORISE as a slim write would at the end of a flash do not worry this is normal . last part as usual outro the drive continue outroing until you see youre key icon HIGHLITED in the dvd tab in drive properties . lastly take back to console and test all should be fine if you have followed these simple instructions failing that send it back to the seller and DEMAND an original .
