A new trailer for Deck 13's upcoming action RPG, The Surge, has been released today which takes us behind the scenes of the game's development and reveals how the game's environment and world was made. The video demonstrates what you can expect of The Surge's industrial, near-future version of Earth which tackles some pretty big themes: from environmentalism and the impact of technology on the planet to corporatism. If that's not enough for you, all that is backed up with a combat style that's reminiscent of Miyazaki's Souls series but with added limb dismemberment and a sci-fi dressing.
