It is a possibility that rogue Han Solo will be among the Hero characters that will feature in the finished version of Star Wars: Battlefront, alongside Princess Leia and The Emperor, if files found in the game's open beta on PC are to be believed. A new, unannounced Hero Battle mode has also been unearthed in the files. The Battlefront beta was explored by Reddit users TheeUberMedic and radgamerdan who managed to locate voice files for Han Solo, Princess Leia and Emperor Palpatine alongside the Hero Battle mode, which sounds like it might be a dedicated mode just for Hero characters like Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Boba Fett at al. SoundCloud files (available to listen to over on AGB) also make mention of Han, Leia and The Emperor, as well as voice over audio for already announced Heroes like Boba Fett, and the Hero Hunt/Hero Battle mode that's also yet to be revealed. Star Wars: Battlefront's open beta is available to download now with Walker Assault on Hoth, Survival Mission on Tatooine and Drop Zone on Sullust. We'll be streaming it over on Twitch from 5pm BST. Star Wars: Battlefront then launches for Xbox One, PS4 and PC on 17th November 2015.
