Starbreeze Studios has issued a statement on the status of Payday 3 in its financial results document, GamesIndustry.biz reported. According to the statement, the game has entered 'full design stage' and the development team behind the upcoming title will be provided as much time as they need to get the game made. So don't expect a release date or possibly even a formal reveal of the game any time soon: Starbreeze CEO Bo Andersson Klint outlined that the game will "enjoy as much time as we deem needed" and "will be done when it's done." Klint explained that PayDay is the company's "single most important brand today and the cornerstone of our business and we will treat it accordingly." Starbreeze acquired the rights to Overkill's franchise last year, picking up the IP from previous publisher 505 Games. Source: Xbox Achievements
