Star Wars: The Force Awakens actor John Boyega, who plays former Stormtrooper Finn has been quizzing EA regarding the possibility of a story-driven offline campaign being added to Star Wars Battlefront, asking: "Will fans get a full on offline story mode? It's more of an enjoyable way to learn controls," via Twitter.EA responded to Boyega's question, asking whether he'd tried out the game's Missions, to which he replied that he had, but it still left him wanting something with a narrative to enjoy. "Yeah thought it was great! But definitely leaves you wanting to engage within a narrative. Can I visit your base in the UK?" said Boyega.An offline story campaign is something that's been requested for Star Wars Battlefront by a number of fans, and while it's possible it could find its way into sequels, there's also the Star Wars title being developed by former Uncharted director Amy Hennig to consider.EA also has possession of the Star Wars license for the next ten years, and as EA's CFO Blake Jorgensen notes, there's no limit to what can be done with it."As everyone knows, with Star Wars, there is an unlimited amount of things you can do with the content," he told GameSpot. "And as Disney starts to add more and more new content, that gives fuel to our ability to add more games around it."Next up for Star Wars Battlefront will be the new Outer Rim DLC later this month, adding a new Extraction mode, Jabba's Palace and Sullust factory maps, as well as Greedo and Nien Nunb as Hero characters.
John Boyega Wants a Battlefront Campaign Mode and I agree that they should make one, there should always be a SP campaign mode, cause servers go down some times, then you can't play online so should play the campaign.
