Hi guys I noticed something very interesting in Forza Motorsport 4. I downloaded from Marketplace a free DLC of a Chrysler SRT. This car is included in Top Gear Pack. So, after that, I started to see different cars played by AI in Career Mode and I wondered where did they come from. The fact is that these cars are from the Top Gear Pack. I went to Marketplace again and checked for the size of the full Top Gear Pack and the one of the free car Chysler SRT. Bingo! They are the same: 111.54MB. I transfered the file of this free car to PC and checked it with Horizon tool. Guess what? It is the full Top Gear Pack, BUT looks like in this pack only the Chrysler SRT is available for the user. I also found (in this pack transfered to PC) a file called 3200_merge.SLT. And pretty sure this file holds the configuration to enable the other cars for the user (since I got some experience from editting gamedb.SLT lol) The problem is that to reach this file, it's necessary to extract it. I tried with WinRAR and its appears a window with the message: "Unknown method of extraction". Does anyone have an idea? Maybe some program engineer...
I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure that means it's not a archive that winrar is compatible with... Try other extracting programs. Also it prob wont work on retail as modded DLC doesn't.
to unzip its quickbms and the problem is recompiling the zip. because it uses 21 compression. from my understanding. but i do not know how to unlock thos cars in Dlc for play.
