Script files for Red Dead are different from GTA IV, so I'm not sure about a menu being like GTA IV, although a guy called Twisted has done some research on the Red Dead files and released a tool to open them, I couldn't find anything about the game's scripts. The only thing close to a menu at the moment is that online cheat menu also released by Twisted.
Twisted and I have been working on tools for editing XSC files. We have got them extracted and decompiled into raw opcodes. The problem is creating a decent natives listing.
Nice, couldn't you use the scotoolbox source for GTA IV's sco's and use that for RDR's script files? I'm sure I seen a screenshot of an edited version of scotoolbox that open an xsc file, whether that was fake or not, I'm not sure.
Nope. The files are in a different format, are encrypted with a different key, and are also compressed differently.
Yeah, I'm not meaning opening xsc files in scotoolbox, I'm talking about using the source (once you've completely researched xsc files fully) to modify it to open and view the xsc file format.
