You would think that Sony would be over the moon with the success of the PS4 given that the corporation is struggling financially and is in deficit to the tune of $85 million, but the company are actually struggling to keep up with supply and demand which is in turn having a negative effect on sales.

Fergal Gara, Managing Director of Sony Computer Entertainment U.K. has revealed that although sales of the console have been managed in some countries such as the U.K, there are other countries such as Germany where the demand has not been met.

In a recent interview with 'Trusted Reviews' Gara stated that although the initial demand across Europe could not be met Sony are confident that they are very close to being in a full supply situation, but are not quite there yet.

So the question is when will Sony have the supply situation in hand? Gara believes that by the time we reach the holiday season Sony can make up for any lost purchases as production ramps up throughout the year.
