Sony have announced a 'On demand' cloud based TV service for both the PS3 and PS4 called Playstation Vue. This new service will allow owners of the Playstation consoles to access live TV without cable or satellite services. PlayStation Vue will allow viewers to save their favorite shows to the cloud and view them for up to 28 days as well as having access to the last three days of TV programming. If this sounds like something you may be interested in Sony are holding a beta for the cloud tv service, the beta will feature access to 75 channels During the invite-only beta, PlayStationâ„¢Vue will initially offer around 75 channels from both major programmers and local broadcast stations, so that viewers can enjoy their favorite movies, TV shows, and sports programs from network partners such as Discovery Channel, Fox , NBCSN , Nickelodeon and many more all of which are listed in the official statement from Sony below: More Network partners are said to be announced at a later date along with the pricing for the service which has yet to be disclosed. PlayStation Vue is set for its official launch early 2015 and will eventually be available on non Sony devices.
