Some customers at Wal-Mart have taken advantage of a recent price match offer that was launched by the company on November the 13th to purchase a $400 PS4 games console for just $90! The scam to get a pS4 for less than a quarter of the official retail price involves using an Amazon third party retailer to take advantage of Wal-Marts price-match promotion: "We're committed to providing low prices every day, on everything," reads Wal-Mart's online price match policy. "So if you find a current lower online price from an online retailer on an identical, in-stock product, tell us and we'll match it." https://twitter.com/GamingHistorian/status/534762235726282752 The scam works by simply creating a selling page on Amazon, which "any Amazon member with a registered selling account can easily create authentic–looking pages and list items for sale online." say CNBC Consumers would only have to take a screen capture of the page either on a mobile device or print it off and show it to a cashier at a Wal-Mart checkout in order to request the price match.... Too easy! https://twitter.com/taahaa8/status/534744983472181248 Whilst most cashiers would most likely hesitate before giving away a $300 discount, it would appear some did not think twice and sold the consoles for a mere $90, as pictures started to appear on social media sites confirming the sales had been made. https://twitter.com/GamingHistorian/status/534785717029720065 Do you agree with the above statement?
