Okay ive just brought this old ps3 back to life from YLOD with artic silver paste running smooth its 3.55 firmware OFW i brought an 3k3y off the net for it to be installed. The problem i have is How do i get the Bluray drive key off the drive i know it has to be 3.55 on CFW i will be doing that shortly could someone write a tut how to get the drive key off the drive on 3.55 CFW????? i used tohave a 3.55 ps3 on kmeaw and if u update it dosent it stop u from been able to install .pkg files. Dont u have to use a spoof or am i wrong
depends did u update to 4.41 cfw or the ofw? if ofw you cant install any packages if u still have cfw u can if your 4.41 u will be able to play up to date games
Because i only need the ps3 on 3.55 to get the drive key once i have the drive key im installing it to the system then updating the whole ps3 to 4.40 playong online with my ISO Games on my HDD thankyou for the help mate cheers
