Hey all I just started work on an XPG theme for when it gets IPB4.0 I'm going to do a sort of "rough draft" to get my ideas and basic layout on IPB3.4 and then will be upgrading it to 4,0! It will utilize font awesome and very, very few images, thus giving XPG a smoother feel and a way faster load time! So far, all I've done is the forum category, which the whole theme will have this sort of style. Keep in mind, this is a rough draft, so it's not done. Just an idea and basic design. I want you guys' feedback on it before I continue as well. Latest Update Made the format inside the category blocks much better, added another font, and fixed the sidebar. Spoiler Status Still responsive and works on all screen sizes and all of the major browsers (as long as they're not very outdated).
loving the smooth look of it.. Mabey just an idea.... make it so the group highlights when you hover over it
Not to be funny but its just the same what we already have. (green) I would like to see a a few game themes as i think we need a change from the green xpg theme. I would like to see Dying Light theme or BF4 for a change with the option to go back to xpg green at anytime. No point messing about with the theme we have if its not broken. Again just my opinion no biggy.
I'm not messing with the theme we have, when XPG upgrades it's software the current theme won't work. I doubt game themes will come, because games do get old. Maybe I can see about a background picture changer and different color though
I don't think so much as a gaming background but, a gaming feel. Something that really makes me feel the theme of the site. I am all about professional looks but, I feel the way you're going is bland. Just generic looking forums, and don't get me wrong, they look nice but, there bland to me. I would like something that makes the theme collide with a special feeling, almost as if it's a one of a kind. If I can find some old skin sketches me and a buddy did, I will show you. As I feel you would very much interest in them.
Just updated the pic. On IPB 4.0, which is the software XPG will be using soon. Also installed the sidebar edits. Still fully responsive and works on all monitor sizes and browsers. I will be working on it more later. Check the update. All the changes I've made don't have a single default CSS or HTML element, it's completely custom coded ground-up. It's not near done, but I will be bringing the topic/post view and forum view to an entirely new layout It will have a one of a kind feel when I'm done.
