    Make sure you power the switch off for a min of so to reset it, also if it's doing it again when you plug it in the Xbox it's a short on the Xbox, you will need to take off and HDD or controllers that are in the USB also then turn it on with them out and hope it's OK, if not check the USB prongs aren't touching!

    mine did that so what I did was cut out a section from the top and installed a 12volt computer power fan an haven't had a problem since :boobs:

    You might need to open up the power brick and clean it.
