Abe is set to make a return following the success of the "ground-up remake" of Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee on the Playstation 4. Just add water have been busy with the remake, otherwise known as Oddworld New 'n' Tasty which will be coming to Steam, Xbox One and PlayStation 3 in February. "Rescue your fellow meat factory slaves in this nostalgic, classic platformer with the latest immersive graphics and design. Find your destiny. Once a happy floor waxer in Oddworld's biggest meat processing plant, Abe stumbled across his boss's secret plan to turn the factory's slave labour force into the latest in the RuptureFarms Tasty Treats line of novelty meat snacks. Abe now has to save his own skin from the grinders even if simply escaping the flesh farm is only the start of his Oddysee. Trigger-happy hunting parties, carnivorous sacred beasts, ancient temple traps and even a return to his former workplace await Abe on his journey to discover his people's heritage. " All versions will feature the new and improved post-launch tweaks made to the PlayStation 4 version such as â€˜old schoolâ€™ control settings, along with QuikSave and QuikLoad functions. Oddworld: New â€˜nâ€™ Tasty will be releasing for Windows, Mac and Linux on Steam (with other storefronts TBA) on February 25th, 2015, while the Xbox One and PlayStation 3 versions are planned for release shortly after, in early March 2015. Wii U and PlayStation Vita versions are still being converted and will be released at a later date.
