Need some easy ideas for a minecraft newbie =)

    So i'm new to the world creating of minecraft. Can someone help me out through im or something with getting good at creating in minecraft. I'm totally new and never played hardly at all just enough to get 3 achievements and learn the basics.


    Basically.. I want to know how I start creating cool things like on websites people have made.

    and on a side note.


    my minecraft doesn't seem like it's the real arcade version download. kinda crappy GOD version. I think it may be my t.v. If anyone can tell me the newest TU for that that would be handy as I'm doing borderlands 2 mods for someone now.

    I started a world got some modding done to it. Like the glitches I figured out from YouTube also.
