So I was just messing around with the Every 2 Minutes website where you could bid for an xbox one, and there is a page where you could also redeem your points for other prizes right away and have them shipped to you... While using google crome I inspected my "0" points and changed it to 25,000 for the turtle beaches to see what would happen.... AND IT LET ME BYPASS THE FIRST STEP! (picture attached) only problem now is once I put the delivery info it says insufficient points. Is there something im missing? >.<
I've tried this too, yes it will bypass some security, but once it comes down to their records, you don't have the sufficient amount
would be nice but seriously you really think it would be that easy lol, something like that you would have to do an almighty hack to there security and there servers and trust me if you could do it you wouldn't be messing round trying to get a free XB1 lol
The initial page probably doesn't outsource to the sites database it only uses the information loaded along with that page maybe to conserve bandwidth, I'm sure at payment they wouldn't use this... I'm sure it checks or this would be the most unsecure sight on earth and I wouldn't trust it with a dime.
