Need help buying a drive

It's difficult to find one with the correct firmware.

You should search eBay for LiteOn iHAS124. You'll need to PM some sellers and ask them if they've got any ones that are the B, C, or D model as they're compatible with the burnermax payload tool (needed to burn XGD3).

This is the drive I have, never used it to burn though. People say it's possible with it in the reviews/comments.

No, it has to be a B if you want to re-write the drive's firmware.

Burnermax payload tool is a program that does this on the fly and it compatible with B, C and D drives. I believe it supports one type of E drive too.

I have been looking for people that sell them for ages but they dont reply lol. thats why i wanted a direct link to it but thanks anyways.

Any drive should work as long as your USB to SATA has SATA and SATA Power.
