Nice! Haha, yeah. My budget was originally $500 and ended up doubling that. Oh well, it was totally worth it! I've been in love with my computer and now that I have a starting point it'll be easier to get a better build. I just wanted something reasonable to find out what type of computer I want/need.
did you manage it in the end here is what mine ended up as its took me about 4 days but shes done sabertooth Z77 I7 3700k Corsair dominator platinum 2x4gb 1600mhz corsair H60 2013 model EVGA gtx 6600 ocz vertex 4 256gb ssd 3x WD green 2tb HDD's 1x320gb WD Blue i founf antec truepower new 650w (bought last sept) zalman z11 pluss case and zalman 6 fan controller (cant remember model) 2x ihas 524b's bluray drive A fan anywhere you can possibly put one The one pushing out through the rad will be blue led soon and ive got some nice extra led's when i get time also modded my ck3i so i dont have to open the case to flash a drive Spoiler got my ck3i on then pull this tray up flash a drive without opening the case http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/109/photo09032013093234pm.jpg/][/URL]
Very nice! I like that case but its a little too bulky for me. An update on my build, was having some BSODs and it took wiping my hard drive (which only filled with games so, no real loss except for a few saves), trying a few different OSes and a lot of time and help to find out that it was all just a faulty DIMM. So one stick out of my set of two 4GB was faulty and I've already past the PNR, so no exchange or refund for me. Luckily I get paid tomorrow so over the weekend I'll be picking up a new kit. Still have yet to decide whether I want to live with getting another kit of 2 x 4GB for around $60 and run on 12GB single channel or spend about $130 on a 4 x 4GB kit. I know the obvious choice the 4 x 4GB and it would be nice but I have to see if I can afford it after all my bills and what not. P.S. Will add some pictures of my build when I'm on a real computer. Yeah. I'm deciding whether or not to get one or two kits of 2 x 4GB 1600 Corsair Vengeance. I'm going to aim for two but will be happy with one if need be. Can always pick up another next pay day. Sent from my iPhone 4S using Tapatalk 2
