Currently the PS4 2.50 Beta firmware is only available to MVP members of Sony, or at least it was until developer SKFU revealed a method for anyone to install the beta firmware early. SKFU has created a pr0xy that works on PS4 consoles allowing anyone willing or wanting to try the 2.50 firmware early to do so. This is non reversible, so be warned that once you update, there is no returning to the current PS4 firmware 2.04. The beta firmware will no doubt be buggy, but if you are still undeterred, then here is the tutorial from SKFU's blog showing you how to download the beta firmware. If you try this out, please let us know the results below. Massive thanks to SKFU for sharing this method.
