THQ has announced that the sequel to Metro 2033 has been delayed until early 2013 due to extra polishing requirements. Metro: Last Light was originally scheduled to launch during Q3 of this year. Set in 2034, the game does not follow the events of Dmitry Glukhovsky’s book. Once again you return to Moscow Metro, picking up from the events of Metro 2033. In a battle of survival, the main protagonist, Artyom is in search on a mysterious prisoner, who is the only key to survival against the Dark Ones. More marketing was also promised by publishers THQ, so this game should really sell when it does eventually hit shelves early next year.
