New DLC for Max Payne 3 will arrive July 3 for PS3 and Xbox 360 users, and July 17 for PC. The "Local Justice Pack" adds some new situations into which you can throw the gruff, sad hero, including the "55th Battalion HQ" map, Imperial Palace and Departure maps for deathmatch and Payne Killer modes, a new M4 Assault Rifle, and a new São Paulo Police faction. Rockstar is discounting the DLC for its first week, to 480 Microsoft Points or $5.99; afterward, it'll go back up to 640 MSP/$7.99. All pre-order exclusive DLC will also be up for sale on July 3, or free for Rockstar Pass owners. Rockstar also announced today that on July 3, all preorder and retailer-specific DLC will be made available on Xbox Live and the PSN. The content is also part of the Rockstar Pass and will be available for PC players beginning on July 17. It includes the following: Cemetery Map: 160 MS points / $2 PSN Silent Killer Loadout Pack: 160 MS points / $2 PSN Pill Bottle Item: 80 MS points / $1 PSN Deadly Force Burst: 80 MS points / $1PSN Classic Max Payne Character: 80 MS points / $1 PSN The Local Justice DLC is the first of seven total planned add-on packs for Max Payne 3.
