You would have to open it like you normally would as an admin and enter the command "cd " - without the quotes then drag and drop the folder you want to go to and press enter. Everything from there should be the same. This will change your directory to the correct directory and you can continue from there.

So it seems that there are a ton a differences between the two saves. You should take your CAREER-DENVER2 save and load it. Then, with that save loaded, you should spend some xp (this is the only thing you should do...don't even advance the week) of the type you wish to mod (Coach I'm guessing) and save the file. Transfer this new save to your PC and continue the process from there, should be a lot easier than what you may be doing now. If you do this and are still getting an error that the save is from a different version (or any other error) make sure you are using the checksum fixer and inserting the correct save back into its container. If it still doesn't work then post here again with both of your files and your error.

I made the exact saves and just changed the xp's on one and I started the comparison and again there were too many that were different. Do anyone know the offset or where the Xp hex is.

Hey don't include the <>'s in the command. This is your problem.

It varies depending on a number of factors. Upload your save and post what you're trying to mod and I'll check it out.

These two saves are good to compare. Once you're down to around 5 differences you can use your knowledge of the amount of XP before and after. For example, it seems that you have 24,118 XP in the first save. So look 24,118 in hex which is 5E36. This can be found at offset 0x5AEA6. You also have 1112 XP with your player so you can find that difference at 0x1DF8E0.

Those are the offsets for you, but not for everyone, which is why a reliable tool for coach and owner saves might have taken a much longer time to develop.

That being said, I went ahead and modified your save and both your coach and owner's XP. Download this: http://www.NOTALLOWED.com/file/0553779595F179ED and start from step 13 in the tutorial.

I'm not sure where you're getting the frt files from. Make sure you're using Horizon, clicking on the contents tab of the save, right clicking the element in the table and selecting extract. Use what you just extracted with offzip and you should get a file 00000054.dat

Weird, I get .frt files when I'm extracting with offzip. Can you try with these save files instead?

I use horizon and get .frt files also. I followed the tutorial step by step but used the .frt instead of .dat and it worked fine on more then one occasion.
