Adverts for the upcoming Nintendo Wii U title showcase the game's vehicles, disguises and characters. Originally titled LEGO City Stories, LEGO City Undercover was announced at E3 2011. The game sees players hunt down criminals in LEGO City, an open-world environment loosely based on San Francisco. The Wii U GamePad will act as a communicator to talk to other characters, a scanner to search for clues and a sat nav for finding your way around the city. LEGO City Undercover will land in North America on March 28 and in Europe on March 18. A 3DS iteration, called LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins, will be released later this year. Nintendo recently confirmed a limited-edition bundle that includes a LEGO minifigure of the game's protagonist Chase McCain.
