Kinect no longer required for Xbox One to function

Another reversal for Microsoft, this time with Kinect. Today, they’v confirmed that the Xbox One will not have to have the Kinect sensor connected in order for the new console to function.

IGN got the news via their AMA with Xbox Corporate Vice President Marc Whitten, where he revealed that Xbox One owners will be able to use all of the console’s core functions regardless of whether the new Kinect sensor is connected.

This is the latest reversal in Microsoft’s controversial Xbox One rules – they started by changing their policies on DRMs, then changed their self-publishing rules, and now they’ve changed the Kinect rules.

This was all planned from the get go, Ms have kept there challenged named console in peoples mouths since it was announced, How can anyone support such CatFlaps who don't stand there ground. It's called the Xbox One cause you're not getting ONE thing we told you about at the reveal or at E3

All they need to do now is make a separate package without Kinect and it's game on.

 

they either change it or loose big time , it is unreal what that expected to get away with to start with.

 

they did do alot of stupid things at the start, but now they are starting to get it right

 

They only changed things cause they know they gonna loose sales if they don't. I say PS4 has won this years console war

Every two weeks since the console was announced, there was rumors of a reversal or a added item, then followed with a confirmed report, of the rumor, a few days later . This was just a marketing plan from Ms. :big_boss: Sony still has the same console that was announced. :locomotive:

 

Finally, the Xbox One is worth getting again!

 

it only proves Microsoft are listening to their customers and ARE willing to change things.
