Hay thar, not sure if it's in the right section; please move if it is! I bought a JTAG yeaaaaars ago, it's the Xenon or something like that. I wanted to pop open the case to glue in a new fan (and it worked, i was really proud). Few questions I broke the case, is it going to explode and set me on fire if I turn it on without the case? I managed to break something in the DVD drive, think I lost the lead or something. When I turn on the Xbox I get a blue screen, which is the one what you get when you turn it on with the disk eject button. How do I fix this?
Could you post some pictures of the case? and interms of the blue screen, have you tried unplugging your dvd drive and then booting on via the normal power button if that doesnt work just tell me im happy to help
No I've done something to the DVD drive to break it somehow. Turn on your jtag with the eject button and you will see the blue screen too. It's those plastic tabs on the case that's broken, nothing else.
Ah sweet, I managed to put it back together. The reason the DVD drive didn't work was because of a lose wire. It's noisy though. It still has a COD 4 disk ad some modded lobbies, I wondered where they went. Thanks anyway though
Um my console dose not have a a case.... why would it explode nor dose it have a dvd drive ._.( i do not use them) just make sure you have the fan cover on (the white plastic) and your good
