is oven reflow a good idea?

    oven reflow? or should i stick to heat gun reflow :p ?

    I would stick with a heat gun and some liquid flux tbf, but its up to you either way they could both fix the error your getting.

    If your going for an oven reflow, make sure you have the mobo on a jig the same as if you was heatgun reflowing.
    Also make extra certain that the oven is already hot before putting it in.
    The other thing is make sure you have covered anything that may melt with some sort of insulation. I use bubble wrap , then tape, then some modeling clay over the top , then finally cover the clay in tin foil!
    Sounds excessive, but that last thing you want is a melted component!
