As stated in the question, is it possible to jtag or RGH without soldering? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.
Thank you! One more question on scale of 1-10 what is the difficulty of soldering and which one do you personally pefer?
If u have no XP in soldering den its best to have some1 who does, coz if u did it wrong it could be f-up and the end of yr xbox.
Thank you! One more question on scale of 1-10 what is the difficulty of soldering and which one do you personally pefer? I'd give it 7/10 for difficulty. Some pads are VERY smalls! Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
The slim 250g version easier solder then the old fat xbox360. Never attempted slim. But good to know it's easier lol as wasn't sure with how everything is laid out. Does it still require motherboard removal or can everything be soldered on top? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
Don't make ur first atempt on soldering on xbox Try other already broken stuff to get the skills. Its not hard but u get the feeling then. As far as i now u need it to remove but u can google alternative points. Its more differcult to solder without motherboard removal....
Man, glad I took Electronic Exploration in high school! But for me, it's actually easier than it looks. I recommend attempting to solder some mini project kits( they're under $10), you can buy them at Fry's electronics. It's fun and educational. And if your kit runs good, then you know you're capable of soldering. Better than attempting to solder first on an expensive hardware.
Yes You Have to remove the motherboard to solder. Think it's one or two solder points on the underside of the motherboard.
