Need a little more info here, do you have the power adapter plugged in all the way? Did the drivers install on the PC? is the PC a desktop or laptop?
yes the drivers installed on the pc its a desktop

odd ..should work fine as long as it has power and drivers installed, have you tried another accessory (usb stick,mp3 player,etc) in that port? I would look in your device manager and see if you can see the drive at all.
how do i go to device manager
press on start,go to search a program and files, type in device should be second from top mate.
or go to control penal
