    It's been a long time coming and the next generation is on the horizon! After a great showcase of games at the Microsoft Press Event I decided that I want the Xbox One. I ordered 2 of them. 1 for me. 1 for the wife!

    Bring it on Sony if I like what you have then I'll order a PS4 too!

    I admire your willingness to buy one for your wife as well, but if your family is dishing out $1100-$1200 (plus tax) for two consoles opening week, why dont you get one, share it, see how you like it, and use that $500 to get a nice gift for your wife? And then once all the kinks get worked out, then buy the new console for your wife.

    Not saying thats what you should do, but If I hade $1200 laying around, one would go to xbox or ps4, then the rest would be for a gift. Or get a nice bottle of scotch/bourbon/whiskey.

    I was in same boat as you had two xbox 360s and two ps3 because my other half loved to play them! My two little boys been born soon changed that tho :lol:
