So i just managed to unlock fallout 4 to play now,a whole 13 hours early using a VPN now for those unsure on how to do this,simply follow this little guide 1.Download softether VPN,choose the VPN Client in the drop down box! LINK 2.load up the client once installed and double click this option 3.once the list loads up look for an Australian server,Double click a server and choose connect and click ok on the prompts. 4.open up steam and log in,fallout 4 should start unpacking (assuming you have pre-loaded it) 5.once unpacked click play,but DONT launch the game from the launcher! 6.close the launcher,go back to the steam dashboard and hit offline mode,now close the vpn connection. 7.once steam has restarted in offline mode you are free to play going back online without the VPN activate can cause the game to become locked again!! if you need help at all gimme a shout may be possible with console's but not too sure on how vpn's work console wise enjoy vault dwellers
Howdy! So ive done everything you said step by steam and as soon as fo4 is about half way done unpacking it says "an error occurred while updating fallout 4". Any idea how to get past this?
