How can i record games on pc for free or close to free as possible?

    Ok guys i have an Elgato game capture HD which i use for recording HD gameplay from my console but i want to be able to record pc gameplay

    It needs to be able to record in full screen

    It needs to pick up the game audio

    It needs to be in HD

    It needs to either have an option to change or just not pick up mine or others voices in programs like Mumble/Skype - this is not a deal breaker

    If there is something out there that can do this then that would be cool. if i have to pay i will consider it only if the price is fairly low

    PLEASE DO NOT SUGGEST FRAPS

    I have fraps full versions and a 46 second clip is 4GB. I recorder a little bit of gameplay yesterday and used almost 2 TB in space

    Use Camtasia Studio 7 it's what I use for recording my videos and there not MASSIVE either like fraps. :)

    have you seen XSplit its ment for live streaming but does local recording as well ill send u a pm
