Io Interactive are celebrating the release of the 24th Elusive Target for their assassination sandbox game HITMAN. Elusive Targets are targets of a contract you only have one try at completing. Dying while on the job means that you will never be able to complete the contract.

Wait too long before accepting the contract, and you will find its rewards will be forever denied to you. Starting today, you’ll also be able to take advantage of a slew of new content added to the game as part of their May content update.

Here’s a trailer for the new Elusive Target, dubbed ‘The Bad Boy’.

In case you can’t watch the video above, here’s the skinny on the ‘Bad Boy’. Your target in question is Bartholomew Argus, a media personality using the Italian seaside town of Sapienza as a means to escape the clutches of the international police force, who have an arrest against him. His host in Sapienza is actor Dino Bosco, whom some of you may remember as the target for one of last year’s two summer bonus episodes.

Note that you do need to own HITMAN‘s second episode in order to gain access to this Elusive Target. Because of the game’s heavy focus on trial and error gameplay, many of the maps are designed to support multiple playthroughs. A system that allows players to set up their own contracts with custom objectives means that the game is, in theory, endlessly replayable due to the wide variety of variables the game allows for in its sandboxes.

The Elusive Target system supplements the contract database of user-created content with periodic extra contracts that keep on bringing players back to the game by offering new challenges on familiar ground.

    Speaking of new challenges:
