help with flashing

    ive got a mate who wants his xbox flashing but with the silent update i was wondering if i flashed the xbox would he be able to play the games offline {thats all he wants to do} or because he got the update will he have to do the TU USB thing

    Aslong as he doesn't connect to live he should be fine ! Also if his drives a Samsung he shouldn't have any problem altogether

    Yeah legit games aren't affected from what I can tell but once he puts his Xbox online he won't be able to use the backups unless he uses dattrans/dphs title update method

    Didn't think he could he only wanted to play the back ups offline so would of been going online with the legit games so will have to wait till it gets sorted out

    If the game is correctly patched it will have no difference between an original game to your xbox. Even original games can get you flagged for a ban if you have an outdated firmware. Because you have updated and been affected by the silent update (DAE.bin update) you should wait for LT+v3.0. Its not safe to be online right now and its possible you could get flagged.

    Wait for 3.0. You will be safe for at least a while then. There is always a possibility of you getting banned with flashed firmware, by one of there surprises like the silent update and the ap2.5 update a while back. Research every update you get before updating and you will be as safe as possible.
