The wait for the PC version of Rockstar's latest release Grand Theft Auto V may almost be over according to Chris Silva Marketing Director for Intel.

GTA V released on console platforms almost 3 weeks ago and there's still no sign of a definite release date for the record breaking game on PC. Chris Silva says its because:
“Somebody paid a lot of money to make sure that title was exclusive”

Silva doesnt think a release date is too far away though:

"At least with Grand Theft Auto I don't think it'll be console exclusive very long. But that's what happens when you have a brand new launch with two companies that have lots of money trying to make sure they have content."

At the end of the day it's business, Microsoft and Sony may have paid to make sure they had the game first, but the PC gaming industry is far to lucrative for Rockstar to ignore it.
Let's hope that Chris Silva is correct and we see a Grand Theft Auto 5 release soon on the PC.

LOL Ya lets listen to a marketing nobody at Intel about what is going on in the gaming world. If anyone paid it would be Sony and why didn't sony make it a playstation exclusive if that was the case. MS sure as hell wouldn't do that because GTA 5 will require Windows 8 (direct X 11) to run best and that would be sales in their pocket for xbox and for pc gaming. Until Rockstar says why they did it (its obvious theres more money in consoles) this is nothing but some jackass trying to get 15 seconds of fame on tech sites.

It will come out for PC.

edit: I think it will be sporting 4K capabilities.
