Gears of War: Judgment has leaked onto BAN-ME-PLEASE sites, and Microsoft responds with the promise to smack down any pirates it finds with a lifetime Xbox Live ban. Reports indicate that the leaked version ofJudgment is complete; if the situation pans out like the Halo 4 leak did last year, you might want to avoid YouTube for the next month to steer clear of Judgment spoilers.[/background]

Microsoft is already taking action, with a strongly worded statement to Eurogamer warning pirates to watch out. "We are aware of isolated cases in which Gears of War: Judgment content has been propped on the web and are working closely with our security teams and law enforcement to address the situation immediately," a company spokesperson said.[/background]

"Playing THE SITE THAT CANNOT BE MENTIONED FOR LEGAL REASONS copies of games, such as Gears of War: Judgment, is a violation of the Xbox Live Terms of Use and will result in enforcement action, such as account and console bans." Piracy is bad, you guys. Don't do it. Wait to enjoy Judgment along with everyone else on March 19, 2013.[/background]
