Gears of War 2 ISO Mods Fix XEX

you have to remove the update to get it to work

 

How do I do that? I have no GOW2 updates on my 360

 

u have a jtag or flashed box

 

I have a flashed slim 360

 

if you have modified the xex it wont work once modified jtag/rgh can only launch them and to mod the game u dont have to touch the xex ive modded it myself

 

I didnt mod the xex at all I just read that it needed to be fixed before the mods would work!

But ive modded plenty of iso games and found it odd that the xex would be involved..

Would you happen to still have the files you used to mod GOW2?

as soon as you touch the default.xex file you can no longer use the iso on a flashed console and your only option would be a jtag/rgh. some of those games will work with just the coal modified as long as you remove any GoW TU's which enables the security check that renders the mods useless.

 

only jtag/rgh modding would would for the xex m8 wasnt saying you did just giving you a heads up so you dont waste discs only thing that need modding as what caboose said for gears of war m8

I used the gears2 iso mod tool that uses the toc and ini files but when i finished modding and burn I get the dirty disc error.

I have no gears2 tu on my console so im confused as why this wont work!

I also wasted another disc after I learned that i had to change the md5 to the new one, but still didnt work

Should I just give up hmmm!!

 

mmmm make sure its the same size before it was modded could be whats causing your issue
