Call of Duty’s matchmaking has always been lightning fast, but it looks like you may wish it was a bit slower in the upcoming Call of Duty: WWII.

Activision’s revealed the new Headquarters feature set to debut in the historical shooter, and it’s basically a big social space where you can meet with other players – and even compete.

Looking at the trailer, there’ll be obstacle courses and shooting ranges for you to interact with – and you’ll even be able to watch live matches rather than, y’know, play yourself. Moreover, earlier in the year it was reported that you’ll earn items if you watch others open loot boxes.

Blimey, man – why put yourself in the firing line when you can get trench foot with your friends instead?
