The Xbox One has officially launched in China now and the reception was good, gamers actually got in line to buy the first games console in China in 14 years.

Microsoft's console was due to go on sale last week in China, however the launch was postponed due to bad weather conditions, so the official Microsoft launch party was delayed for almost a week with no plans for another.

One of Microsoft's major retail partners 'Sunning electronics' held midnight launches across its stores in Beijing, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Chongqing and Shenyang, which covered all Chinas major cities.

The scenes in China last night were a stark contrast to those on Japans Xbox One launch. It is hardly surprising though given the fact that China hasn't officially had a games console in over 14 years.
