According to a fresh report the first details on new Xbox 720 controller have leaked after developers reveal information on a “Developer console” prototype Xbox 720 they are working with to develop next-gen games. They have now confirmed the position of all the buttons will be the same on the new Xbox 720 controller as they are right now on the current 360 controller. The developers have however said it “Does feel slightly smaller then the original one” and have also confirmed it has improved battery life using new charging technology and they have confirmed it has no new features like Playstation 4′s new Dual shock 3 or touch-pad integration and social button. The new Xbox 720 controller will come in different colours, patterns and will allow you to customize the style of the controller. In order to prevent developers from posting images online Microsfot has drawn several lines different on each controller in order to track who’s controller it is.
Good news, I for one am glad that the button layout hasnt changed. Slightly smaller pads will be better for younger gamers as well. My little lad struggles a bit with the current Xbox controller, but can use a PS3 controller with little problem.
I originally thought this too, but now that I think about I am glad. I don't like the ps4 controller and while I am probably the minority, I really don't want a screen on my controller to look at as well.
I Personally Like PS4 Better Than The Xbox 720 For Now, Even Though Im Getting The 720. But Still They Could Add Some Features! :/
Let's hope it uses the same wireless connection method so i can still use my Viking360 Macro Controller

i have got a feeling the microsoft are hiding some secerets on the next gen console, because sony are making improvements i.e on ps4 pad but if microsft are keeping it the same then, they have got something hiding away

I really don't mind that they aren't changing the controller much. I like the 360 controller as it is.
