Hi all been away for awhile and not booted my xbox up for some time, Upon last night been trying to do this bloody update and keep getting this error Update Failed 3CD6-0000-0080-0300-8007-2751 Rebooted router and check all ports and nothing any ideas?
That is a xbox live connection issue, Try this, http://support.xbox.com/xbox-live/connecting/connection-issues Also you can apply the update via a USB if that also helps. http://support.xbox.com/xbox-360/system-updates/system-update-help
when i get an error for updating i eject the disc out and it then works. check if you have a disc in the drive
Tried a manual update, place on usb and xbox will not even try to boot it, just keep asking me to update over xbl straight away!
Hmmm is there no option to cancel that one? If there is you could go into system settings and use the one from the USB.
when trying to update manually make sure you disconnect your wireless/ethernet from your console first then it should grab the update from the USB otherwise it will just try an do the live update. also make sure the USB is Fat32 formatted and the update is in a folder called $systemupdate.
Removed HDD, managed to get the system to recongize it and it extracted, completed but now its still asking me to do another update. Which on the 2nd update says error. Spoke with microsoft hes telling me its my connection when he is chatting BS! My ports are open, cache cleaned, firewalls are all off and still nothing. My dash now says 2.0.16203.0
Do not know what was wrong! but seem like i have fixed it, I just followed this : Navigate to System Settings and then to Storage. - Highlight the storage device that the update is on (the one that wont work) and then press LB, RB, X, LB, RB, X. - A notification should pop up. Read and agree! then re downloaded and works
