does anyone know how install dvd menu on my ekey Rev 7-2 (v1.1) ? my xbox slim , i can use picture view and play the game can't find answer how install that dvd menu thanks please help have a geat day
this might help LaTeam XKEY still hits hard again by offering us their new tool for XKEY: The DVD menu, so we share with you as usual a tutorial! Edit: the DVD menu does not work with hard disks EXT3 and EXT4 (thank you for the info Shenrone) Edit2: some people have compatibility issues with their external hard drive ("iso invalid Games" message appears when you open the virtual drive) released an update to resolve the problems, we must remain pending ISO menu for relevant, thank you to Regiso for testing. Prerequisites: The 2-01-1 firmware installed on your xkey a complete tutorial is available here: Update firmware 2-01-1 XKEY The DVD menu available here: MENU DVD XKEY Go here we go for the tutorial: 1 - Download the software that will install the covers on your hard drive and unzip it to your desktop 2 - Install it by clicking Setup and run the (right click and run as administrator in Vista or Seven) and connect your external hard drive containing your Xbox 360 games in ISO format on your computer 3 - Select the drive letter of your hard drive, in our case it will be the letter I: 4 - Check both boxes located below the choice of DVD menu theme graphic to also upload pictures and videotape advertisements games you own: 5 - Click the "Scan ISOS" button, wait for the time that the first stage ends: 6 - Click "Start DVD Styler" if you have an error message like the picture below do not panic simply restart step: 7 - Wait for the covers and trailers are downloaded: 8 - The DVD Menu for your console is now created, so you have to change the Xkey.cfg file to disable ISOmenu and activate the DVD Menu to open the Xkey.cfg this file with a text editor Wordpad style and put "N" for ISOmenu and "Y" for the DVD Menu: 9 - Now connect your external hard drive on the XKEY then turn on the console, press the eject button on the Xbox 360, the message "Read the DVD" appear, finish by pressing the A button on your controller to start the new Dvd menu and follow the instructions to launch the game! when you eject the try you get mixed media open tray? i haven't used the dvd menu my self have you tired loading it and are you on firmware 2-01-1 XKEY?
Yes it keeping say mixed media open tray Is there sd image ver 2-1-1 that I can download, cuz I downloaded 2-1-1 file no sd image , I keep getting e64 error. Or is there away I can put on mt sd card with out getting that E 64 error? Thank for helpful Please
hmm i had the same issue i had to re image the sd card (but i never updated to 2-1-1 so im not sure ) i thought the latest was XK3y-02.01-4
So there no way put 2-1-1 firmware on sd card uh? Yes I'm using that firmware 2-1-4 it should let u use DVDs menu options
if theres a image for it you might be able to with the imager for the sd (but 2-1-1 isn't on the xkeys download page)
