Bungie's sci-fi shooter 'Destiny' releases on September the 9th and the beta is fully underway now so we have put together a 'Destiny' survival guide for you. This is a hints, tips and maybe some little cheats along the way to help you during your time in the beta for this amazing game. Level Cap: The levels are capped and once you reach level eight you can not rank up any further, however you can continue to unlock items and weapons to keep grinding that XP. Special Emblem: Bungie are giving a special emblem to everyone that participates in the beta of Destiny which you can use for your character in the full game when it releases on September the 9th. Upgrade, Upgrade, Upgrade: That's right, make sure you upgrade every chance you get, its crucial to your survival. You will know when you can upgrade, a small '+' will show up next to your gear slot. Team Work: Playing as a team will keep you alive in Destiny. Plan ahead and work out a strategy with your team mates, communication is key. Also stay close to your team mates so fellow Guardians can revive you. Poppin Wigs: Headshot's are the way forward, aim for the head for extra damage. Experiment: You will find a massive arsenal at your disposal so mix it up. Every weapon has different abilities along with strengths and weaknesses, so try them all out it will ultimately help you. Don't Stay Away From The Light: Orbs of light are glowing ball s of energy generated by other Guardians when they use their super abilities.If you see Orbs pick them up because they provide a large boost to your super ability recharge meter which you can then use to kill more enemies. The Undying Crucible: Completing the undying crucible will give you massive amounts of XP, we have a guide to easily complete this tricky challenge which you can see here.
