Destiny will be offline for several hours on Thursday whilst Bungie perform some planned maintenance according to a post on the Destiny blog. The server maintenance is in preparation for a series of updates that will be heading to Destiny over the next few weeks. The downtime will take place on Thursday the 13th of November at 8am Pacific which is 4pm UK time, during this time players will be unable to access the game during this time for around 4 hours. Once the maintenance has been carried out you will be able to play the game as normal, you will not notice any changes at this time, the game will be unchanged. The updates which are being applied are all server side, so you won’t need to download or install a new batch of content. Bungie state that they have “prepped some packages for deployment.†So until then we will just have to 'Pardon their dust'!
